Deccan Achar makes over 30 varieties of achar. The range covers vegetarian pickles such as mango, lime, garlic, ginger, tomato, amla, karela, tamarind, red chilli, curry leaf and gongura; non-vegetarian pickles including mutton, chicken and prawn; and sweet pickles such as khatta meetha and sweet mango. Biryani pickle, or biryani ka achar, is a Hyderabadi pickle made with mango pieces, onion and cashew nuts in the spice blend used for Hyderabadi biryani. Deccan Achar makes it in 250g and 500g packs starting at ₹129. It is eaten with plain rice, curd rice or rotis.

Deccan Achar was founded in 1961 by Mohsin Bin Mahfooz as a ghee store in Nampally Market, Hyderabad.
